Perfectly clean property short walk to two or three subway lines and Seoul and 3 subway stations. Marvellous location relatively close to The Edge. Btw, located to traditional market including the famous Gwanjang market. Met requirements, would definitely recommend...

The apartment was perfectly clean and located close to two or three subway lines. Unbeatable location in Steiff cafe downstairs, loved it. Comfy rooms, comfortable design. Vews of the mountain. Staying here was a pleasure, we would stay here again, nothing too much trouble.

It was within walking distance to namsangol hanok village. The apartment had free WiFi

Complimentary breakfast for 1 day (but very basic)

No kitchenette & kitchenware (have to arrange with extra charge), no microwave, table & chair. Only with a washing machne. Misleading as a residence/service apartment. Rather aged furniture & decoration, particularly the timber flooring.

The hotel staff were very helpful and spoke English well. The Internet connection in the room was fast (and free). The room was cleaned every day and bed linen changed most of the days (except weekends, I gather). Any kind of problem regarding the room was addressed quickly and the hotel staff did not rest until the problem was solved. Although for most of the extras (iron, cooking utensils) extra charge applied, the staff were not rigid about the return time of the borrowed items and charged only minimal amount each time (for 2 days use of iron/ironing board, only 1 day fee was charged) or did not charge at all (mobile phone charger, 20+ page printouts etc). 7-11 downstairs had nearly everything one needs during a stay in a hotel. The (complimentary) breakfast was good too. The room on the 13th floor had a lovely all-round view from the two large windows on two sides; the rooftop garden (on the 15th floor) was nice. Spacious and clean rooms, good airconditioning, soft bedding.

The location was not exactly great, although the hotel was close to main metro lines (exit 5 and 6 of the Dongdaemun History and Culture Park stop, which is a junction of 3 metro lines). The surrounding area looked a bit run-down, but relatively quiet and definitely very safe. Ideal location for those who want to roam the Dongdaemun shops/markets or those who want cheap yet spacious accommodation near downtown Seoul (the palace is 4 metro stops away).

Good locations for shooping

When I wanted to book this hotel, I was worried about several things that I had read in previous comments, such as "there is no sitting place in the lobby, room facilities are old and staff could not speak English" but since I needed two triple and family room I finally chose this hotel. But when I reached there everything was different. Staff were very helpful and all off them (even the cleaning lady) could speak English. Both rooms were cleaned everyday and of course there was sitting place in the lobby. So I recommend this hotel for families who want a large room with cooking and washing facilities.

A comfortable hotel and ideal for a family of four. The rooms were large and the beds soft and comfortable. The hotel staff were very helpful.

This hotel offers comfortable rooms with reasonable location and price. Location is just 2 stop far away from seoul center.You can easily get there with subway.There is awesome seoul view from top floor.and just let u know there is a convenience store at enterance floor.From subway take airport bus and get off at sofital ambassador hotel and then 5 min walk you are at hyundai residence...

My family was very happy with its clean and spacious room, free internet and easy access to a subway station. Hotel staff was very accomodating.

The fact that you have to pay before commencing your stay

It has a very good kitchen and good for a family tour.

A little far from the subway station, and difficult to find if you don't know Korea language.

24 hour front desk, helpful despite limited English. Good price for a Seoul-area residence/hotel.

The location isn't bad, it's just not particularly close to anything except a rather non-descipt neighborhood "si-jang" (open market). Lots of one-way streets makes navigation a pain and increases taxi fare a bit.
